Анализируя уровень выходного сигнала широкополосного лямбда зонда, блок управления двигателем рассчитывает численное значение коэффициента отклонения состава рабочей смеси от стехиометрического состава, что, по сути, является коэффициентом лямбда.

Возможно запрограммировать пиковое значение, так называемый "Warning" при достижении которого, прибор оповестит световым индикатором. Все сенсоры в комплекте датчиков имеют систему защиты от пыли и влаги.
Датчик представлен в двух видах: с затемненным стеклом Black Face или стандартном исполнении Clear Face.
